Extract from the register of the episcopal synod[s]. The bishop and whole diocese agree to the division of the parish of Tarbat into the parishes of Tarbat and Fearn, the tithes and [? fiants] for each church to be decided on information from the owners of property there. Each church is to have ten dawaches [considerable tract of land; a small district including several oxgangs] of land. [Signed]: M[r]. Will. Lauder. Dated at Chancery.
