Documents concerning legal proceedings: Robert and Duncan Kirkwood against Andrew Kirkwood, Elizabeth [née Leischman] widow of [another] Duncan Kirkwood, and her children James, Euphemia (Eufame) and Marian. (ff. 92-95): (i) Petition from the pursuers tothe lords of council and session for reasonable charges for themselves and their curators while the case, now about four years old, is proceeding, since the lords have made a decree instructing the defenders to pay the 'bairnes pairt' due from the estate of the deceased father of the pursuers.
