Documents concerning legal proceedings: Archibald Inglis and others against Robert Lumsden. (ff. 81-84): Obligation by George Douglas of Parkhead to become surety for Inglis and his tenants. He agrees that the obligation shall be registered in the council book, and instructs [blank], his procurators, to appear before the lords of council and session to certify his consent. [Signed by] George Douglas and [? by] three witnesses [named], all Douglases. [Two names of witnesses apparently in the same hand]. [Endorsed]: Appointment of [blank], procurator [? s] to register the obligation. [Signed]: George Douglas. Dated at [? Murdoston].
