Indenture of lease by Alexander Seyton of Gargunnock, Stirlingshire and Janet (Jonet) [née Buchanan] his wife to Alexander Ferguson and Marion [née Dickson] his wife of 'fourtie schilling land' in Gargunnock during the lifetime of Robert Ferguson, fatherof Alexander, and for 22 years following. Details are given of an annual payment of £10 and livestock. Several witnesses [named]. [Signed by] Seyton and his wife. [Endorsed]: '... and 22 ... of the ... land of Gargunnock 1593' [? i.e. 1594]. [Whole document dirty and faded].
