'Articles extract of the old indentures whereunto the officers of the King's lord ... (torn) in Wales were bounden to observe'. To keep good order, punish offenders, employ no liveried retainers, issue regular proclamations urging aggrieved persons to complain to commissioners in the marches of Wales, pardon no felons without consent of president of the Council in the Marches, etc. £100 fine for failure to comply. See ff.29, 39.
