Documents concerning suit by William Sheldon, Richard Price and others against Thomas Smith and others. (5, ff. 1-14): Answer of John Pratt and Roger Crosse, bailiff and deputy bailiff of Chipping Campden, to bill of William Sheldon. Were present near disputed grounds on specified date [here given as 5 April] with Richard Lee, head constable, owing to rumour of contention over ownership of property and sale of thorns. Found all guiet, and returned home. Copy [? by] John Evans.
