Documents concerning suit by William Sheldon, Richard Price and others against Thomas Smith and others. (5, ff. 1-14): 1. Letter from the Council in the Marches to defendants 'within named' [no enclosure] to appear 20 April. Meanwhile bound in £100 to keep the peace. Copy [? by] John Evans. 2. John Bowker has deposed that he pinned summons to 'parlour door' of Thomas Smith while Smith was in the house. Smith has not appeared. To do so 18 May 'upon pain of allegiance'. Other defendants bound in £100. Copy [? by] John Evans. Dated at Ludlow.
