Description

Documents concerning suit by William Sheldon, Richard Price and others against Thomas Smith and others. (5, ff. 1-14): Letter from John Pollard and Robert Townshend to Star Chamber. Following letters of 4 May from the Lord Chancellor they have stayed proceedings in case of William Sheldon, esq., William Izode and Richard A Price his servants, against Thomas Smith, esq., his friends and servants. All relevant documents enclosed. Endorsement: 'To the right honourable and their especial good lords the Lord Chancellor of England and other the King's majesty's most honourable Council in the Star Chamber'.
