Documents concerning enquiry into death of John Gwyllim alias Gilbert. Queen and the Council in the Marches to Rawlinges. Letters have been sent to those instructed to assist him [see f.25]. To proceed at once, taking no evidence in writing, but all orally, having given due notice to two of those to assist him to be present. Followed by: Note: 'Myles Parrye gent. petition[? er]'. Dated at Bewdley.
Endorsed [in a later hand]: 'Copies of letters from the Council in the Marches of Wales to the coroner of the city of Hereford in the behalf of Myles Parry and Roger James, defendants, sued in an appeal by Elizabeth Gilbert, widow, plaintiff.'
