Case of Robert ap Gwyllim and Eleanor his wife of Llangarren, Heref., plaintiffs, and Edward Maynston of Heref., defendant. Bills of Rees ap Gwyllim and Eleanor his wife to the Council in the Marches. John and Ralph Appye seised of property in Llangarren, Heref. After death of Roger Maynston [to whom premises had been granted by John and Ralph] and his wife Alice property should have descended to Eleanor as daughter and heir of Roger. But Edward Maynston 'lieutenant of lordship' [of Irchenfield], has acquired relevant deeds and entered on property.
