Answer of 'Ric. Prise als. Ric. ap Jevan Gwyn'. While passing on highway heard 'rumour', and found plaintiff, his sons and David ap Henry assaulting one of defendants. They attacked defendant on being charged to keep the peace. Defendant took four of them to houses of two justices of the peace but, not finding either, committed defendants to gaol until morning. Denies all charges against him.
