Certificate of appearance of William Phelip Jones of Rad., gent. before [? Court of Augmentations, or Exchequer officials]. He has shown a Crown lease to him for 21 years, dated 10 February 1529, in hands of Sir John Daunce and John Hale, general surveyors of lands, of rents of assize, etc. of manor of 'the new castell in Radnorshire'. Signatories certify signatures of Daunce and Hales. Signed by Walter and Thomas Mildmay, John Purevey, Alexander Chapman, Christopher Smyth, William Mynne and John Bassett. Endorsement to Sir Robert Townesende and the other commissioners in the Marches. (In different hand) 'Received 14 Aug: by the plaintiff Wm. Phillip Jones'.
