Orders and payments made in connection with the three months assessment commencing 24 June 1660, of which Sir Thomas Player, Chamberlain of the City of London, is Receiver-general: Order of Committee of Parliament appointed to consider to whom £20,000 should be paid for providing requisites for the King's return and reception, that Thomas Player issue this sum to Thomas Parry, who is to pay the bills of the various people concerned; 10 July 1660. Order signed by Thomas Parry for Player to pay the sum to Edward Backwell, Alderman; 14 Sept. 1660. Receipt to Edward Backwell; 20 Oct. 1660.
