Order of Charles II to Thomas Lewis, a Chief Constable of Doddingtree Hundred, to give notice throughout his division of a meeting of all between 16 and 60 at Pitchcraft [meadow outside Worcester] on Monday 1 Sept. 1651 and have the notice and the related Proclamation [f 85] read at every parish church. He is also to levy and bring with him that proportion for his division of £2,000 to be raised for the county. Dated at Worcester. Sign manual.
