Description

Wingfield Papers: Thomas Gosnold to his kinsman, Robert Wingfeild, in Grayes Inn: reference to cousin Gosnold as `the great colonel of your county', against whom Wingfield has a suit; legal business; arbitration in which cousin Nathaniel Thruston of Hoxen is for the plaintiff and Thomas Burnell, once chancellor of Durham, is for the defendant; 12 May 1651.
