John Johnson to Edmond Some (Lynne): sends a reckoning of goods shipped from Andwerp to Lynne; hopes the ship has arrived; Some's servant's dealings at Andwerp; he is willing to send another ship if Some will join him; to freight a cray of 40 tons if he pleases, and send word. Has charged 12% for his provision, because the wars have caused assurance charges to rise: the hazards are so great he will not venture without assurance: to let him have as much ready money as he can; London; 24 Oct. 1551; Copy.
