Otwell Johnson to John Johnson : has received a letter and 2 sarplers of wool and paid John Ellys the bearer: his brother Gery has his pewter which weighs 50 lb. skant weight: has bargained by the exchange with Philip Cokram and John Bartilmew for £100for Mr. Kyrkeham: Richard Preston has sent for another £40 or £50: he is daily overcharged. Post script by Richard Sandell: note of canvas and a tonnikin of olives sent by the bearer; London; 4 Jul. 1548.
