Otwell Johnson to John Johnson : the profit on grain shipped to Flanders will be much smaller than expected, owing to delay in shipping: prices have fallen and Garbrand now intends to keep it for later sale: fears that, in consequence, Robert Andrew will be unable to pay all the bills Otwell has charged him with: Garbrand will supply Andrew with £200, but marvels that he should be charged so heavily: he has had to take up much money at the exchange: John's affairs are unsatisfactory, but he will discharge his bills as best he can. Thanks for venison; London; 30 June 1548; Part in French; Imperfect.
