Otwell Johnson to Richard Johnson: instructions to take up money on the exchange at Andwarpe, to buy Flemish gold coins and ship them to England where Otwell is at a point with one of the Mint to have ready money for them: the matter must be handled discreetly: accepts his bill but marvels at his financial dealings in Callais: urges him to write fully from time to time to avoid misunderstandings. Annexed: note concerning the farm of three water mills at [Cotterstock] near Fotheringay; London; 3 Nov. 1547; Copy.
