(i) [Burghley] to Joseph Pennyngton: as Lord of the manor of Longdon in Geysmore parish in the barony of Kendall, co. Westmorland, to assist Hugh Bonace of Holborne, co. Middlesex in establishing his right to land there detained from him; my house near the Savoie; (-) Nov. 1590; (ii) [Burghley to Phillypson, a steward of Kendall barony]: to summon a jury from the Queen's tenants to try Bonace's suit; (-) Nov. 1590.
