Description

Complaint to the Lord Treasurer by Richard ap Reignoulde, late bailiff of Furde hundred, co. Salop, that Edward Leighton, against whom he exhibited a bill for injuries to the Crown, has procured the sheriff to deprive him of his office and appoint GeorgeLee bailiff; 12 Dec. 1583; with minutes by the attorney general and Burghley for an injunction against Lee and the sheriff
