Description

Thomas Fermor and Nathaniel Bacon to the Lord Treasurer and Myldmay: have examined James Borne who arrested Walsingham's ship with Newe Castell coal, because it had previously carried corn abroad without licence. The sails and tackle are with William Haydon, vice-admiral. Think informers should proceed in an orderly course; Styfkey; 10 Oct. 1583
