Description

George Carew to Sir Robert Cecill: Sends translations of Dutch letters, passing between Spanish commanders and German princes, which were sent to him by the Duke of Harburg. The duke hears from Vienna that a prince of Tartar offers to mediate between theEmperor and the Turk; from Constantinople learns a Bassa is sent with an army to Hungary.
