Description

Antonio Perez to the earl of Essex: Uses Nanton's confidence; what was proposed to the constable after the loss of Amiens; the legation of Fucarola. The letters brought by Marenes show the earl's agreement with him. Calais will doubtless be theirs. The proposed invasion of Spain; 2/12 Apr. 1597; Latin; Sealed.
