John Kendrick to John Quarles: large purchases by George Chaundler and William Kenton bring down price of coloured cloths. The Hollanders buy not by affection for us as our Brabant factors did. Many of Quarles's cloths were badly napped; the shearman should use better pack thread; Middelburg; 10 Jan. 1601.
