Description

Peter Edgecumbe, Richard Carew of Anthonie and Christopher Harris to Sir Nicholas Parker: lord Bath has 3,000 men ready to march; Carew has 250 at Causan and as many on call; Rouse has 350 at Milbroke; Greynvill's regiment expected at Saltash; Sir Reynold Mohune has 600 men at Looe and has been ordered to Foye. If Parker's harbour is attempted they will come with speed. Plymmouth; 6 Aug. 1599.
