Sir Horatio Palavicino to Sir Robert Cecill: the Fugger have not granted the Cardinal more than 200,000 crouns; expected he will take Ostend. The ships seen by Captn. Croft were Hollanders and Easterlings, arrested by Philip II, some to go to the Indies with the Viceroy of Peru, others to take stores to the Armada at Ferrol. News that English ships took Santa Martha in the Spanish Main; Baburham; 3 May 1597.
