Description

Robert Hassall to [-]: account of his travels from Levorne through Naples, Messina, Siracusa and Venice to Malta; Turkish corsairs. St. Abin commends English shipping; negotiations about trade with Malta, which produces cotton and aniseed, yet the traffic of little moment, for the poor white Moors in Malta live worse than the wild Irish. The Elsabeth refitted at Naples. [? 1601].
