Description

Nicholas Smithe of Byseley, co. Gloucester to the Queen: petitions for admission to his late father's copyhold; was wounded in the war at Newehaven and supposed dead. Richard Pates, the recorder of Gloucester, neglected his petition; [c. 1580].
