Description

Proceedings against vagabonds and masterless people in Essex, 1571-1572 [probably from the papers of Thomas Fanshawe] (ff 84-130): Depositions of Thomas Denson (alias Dennys), servant to William Abell of Stondon, co. Essex, concerning thefts of a pig from William Nutbrowne of Berking and of a cloak from Ralph Stoderd; 25 and 26 May 1571.
