Examinations of the Portuguese ambassador, Martin Godsalvus, his secretary, and Humphrey Perwyche, constable of St. Paul's liberty, relating to the entry of the constable of Hoggesden into the ambassador's house, 24 Oct. [1568] to see what Englishmen were present at mass. Those attending mass on other occasions were Naler of Fletestreate, Clyfforde of the Myddel Temple and Peter of Bethlehem; 29 Oct. [1568].
