Description

Ministry of Pensions. Award of disability pensions to certain reservists: unauthorised awards by the Admiralty.

[The Admiralty granted pensions based upon total combined length of service in the Navy and Naval Reserve - a practice deplored by the Treasury, who, nevertheless, granted covering sanction].
