ENGLAND AND WALES: Miscellaneous: E Stanley: forwards letter from the Collector and Comptroller of Customs at Falmouth, Cornwall, reporting disorder at Falmouth and Penryn, when nearly a thousand tin miners seized corn, malt and barley for themselves, mainly because of the scarcity and high price of provisions in Cornwall. Casualties resulted from firing by soldiers, and further riots are feared
