ENGLAND AND WALES: Law: Petition of Kemble Whatley, employed as carpenter and auctioneer by Sir Edward Thomas, Crown Surveyor of woods adjoining the Trent. Sir Thomas died owing him money which he has been unable to recover, while his workmen are threatening to sue him. Asks that money due be paid by the Crown
