The Anglo-Austrian Mixed Arbitral Tribunal was constituted under Article 256 of the Treaty of St. Germain-en-Laye (10 Sept. 1919). Its purpose was to process claims against Austria for assets, such as land, buildings and money, lost as a result of the First World War.
