Description

John, bishop of Ely, John Clerk, baron of the Exchequer, Edmund Lichefeld, clerk, John Brumston and John Grene, Esqs., John Alfegh, John Rothman, John Judde, William Ensyng, and Thomas Nisell to grant the manors of Knole, Riverhead (Retherden), Panthurst, and Britains, messuages, land, and rent in Sevenoaks, Leigh, Penshurst, and Chiddingstone, and half the manor of Slobbe in Sevenoaks, to Thomas, cardinal archbishop of Canterbury, and his successors, retaining land in Otford and Shoreham. Kent. 19 Edw IV.
