Description

Henry de Threlkeld and Robert de Threlkeld, chaplain, to retain the manor of Melmerby and the advowson of its church, acquired from Robert Matheweson, chaplain, Thomas de Haveryngton, and Thomas Lightlop, who acquired them from John de la Praye, vicar ofthe church of Morland, William de Kendale, and Thomas Walker of Great Strickland, who acquired them from the said Henry and Thomas de Derby, parson of the church of Brougham, who acquired them from Adam Parvyng, knight. Cumb. 4 Ric II.
