The prior and convent of Maxstoke to retain land and rent in the manor of Maxstoke acquired from John son of John de Clynton, in exchange for the manor of Shustoke, excepting the homages and services of Thomas de Asteleye, William de Curson, and their heirs, and excepting the advowsons of the church of Shustoke and the chapel of Bentley. Warwick. The same to retain rent in Yardley acquired from William de Clynton, earl of Huntingdon. Worc. The same to retain other grants by the said William, viz. messuages, cottage, land, and rent in Maxstoke, Long Itchington, Shustoke, Tanworth, and half the manor of Nether Whitacre (except 20l. rent), the homages and services of John and Adam del Wytheges of Long Itchington, and Peter Lymisi, knight; the reversion of lands in Shustoke held for life by Reginald Othe Hull, William Peghewebbe, John Annyng, Margaret his wife, and Alice their daughter, and Roger Taillour, Mary his wife, and William their son, and the reversion of messuages and land in Long Itchington held for life by William Snet and John his son, Gundreda mother of Thomas de Boltesham, John de Morewell, and John Man and Joan his wife; also to retain a messuage and land in Maxstoke granted by John Craddok, Nicholas Bertram, and Joan his wife, and John Griffyn and Alice his wife.
