Description

John de Thornton, chaplain, and Alexander de Egburgh, clerk, to grant to the hospital of St. Leonard, York, rent arising from a messuage and land in Exelby lately granted to John de Cauncefeld and Isabel his wife and the heirs of their bodies by John de Helbek, from whom the grantors acquired the said rent; and also to grant to the same the reversion of the said messuage and land in case of failure of heirs to Thomas son of the said John de Cauncefeld and Isabel, which reversion they had also acquired from the said John de Helbek. York. 8 Edw III.
