These drawings relate to the government buildings constructed on the west side of Parliament Street, also bounded by between King Charles Street, Horse Guards Road and Great George Street, between the end of the 19th century and the First World War. Originally referred to as the New Public Offices, the buildings are now better known as Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS). The buildings originally housed the Board of Education, Local Government Board, the Public Health Office and part of the Ministry of Works. The buildings have been home to several other government departments at various times and are currently occupied by H M Treasury.
