Description

Short title: Lane v The Mayor of London.

Plaintiffs: Thomas Lane, clothman of Basingstoke, and ironmonger of London.

Defendants: The mayor, aldermen, and sheriffs of London.

Subject: Actions of detinue against John Calvacantie, merchant of Florence, by complainant and John Brugys, sheriff, for kerseys which the sheriff claims as foreign bought and sold, on the plea that complainant has lost his freedom by non-residence. Certiorari. London
