Description

Short title: Forster v Yong.

Plaintiffs: John Forster, late general receiver of the Queen, and John Dyve, her attorney.

Defendants: Thomas Yong, justice and recorder of Bristol, and the sheriff of Middlesex.

Subject: Arrest of Forster in an action for debt brought by Yonge on an obligation given to him as security against the claim of Matthew Philip, alderman of London, assign of William Port, on a tally levied on the fee farm of Bristol which farm was granted to the Queen before the tally was paid.

Petition for writs of `subpoena' and `corpus cum causâ.'.
