Folio 270: Burt to Arbaud. Pascaly is a Congress agent, a Corsican fugitive and a thief. The officers from the English frigate did not pursue the men for their own gain. As to a claim that they insulted the king of France, the inhabitants do this by ignoring his orders.
Date and place: 1777 Nov 10 Antigua.
