Folio 216: Stormont to Weymouth. The king of Prussia has sent a strong reply to the circular letter issued by Kaunitz. He criticises the Emperor and the Empress queen for encroaching on the rights of the Empire. France has told Prussia that she will not feel bound to take part in a war, which arises from Austrian claims, as part of the Bavarian succession.
