Folio 194: Stormont to Weymouth. The king of Prussia is trying to get France to join him in preventing the execution of the treaty made between the courts of Vienna and Mannheim. Maurepas and Vergennes favoured a show of concern. Soubise, Sartine, Bertin and Ossun wanted openly to oppose Vienna. The King supported Maurepas.
Date and place: 1778 Feb 11 Paris.
