Folio 158: Stormont to Weymouth. Dispatches from the King of Prussia to Goltz: he is to inform France of the king's wish to avoid war between Russia and Turkey and of his wish to prevent the dismemberment of Bavaria. He wants all to go to the elector Palatine. Stormont thinks it improbable that France would involve herself in a continental war. He hears that Prussia aims to detach Russia from Britain and connect her with France.
