Folio 144: (a) Letters from Berthelot to Charles Edward Hague in London. His ship has been taken in to New York but not yet condemned. He is treated like a criminal. (b) He has no money. His tobacco is to be taken from him. (c) He has been allowed to sell sugar to provide for his crew. He is falsely accused of bringing his cargo from the American colonies.
