Folio 120: Weymouth to Stormont. The death of the elector of Bavaria will result in alterations in the alliances of Europe and negotiation between Turkey and Russia. These could be important to Britain. He must delay any civility to the Moroccan ambassador [see f.63]. The little encouragement shown to French officers recruited by Franklin and Deane make it unlikely that many Irish officers in French service will go to America. He encloses papers about a French ship taken by [H.M.S.] Hector.
