Folio 88: Macartney to lord George Germain. The rebels receive every help on the islands under the command of Bouillé and are allowed to dispose of their prizes without any court proceedings by transactions carried out in the outer bays. Bouillé claims perfect neutrality. There are 40 or 50 Americans at St. Pierre. Bingham is the moving spirit. He gives details of his activities and supplies going to the rebels. Bouillé has been warned from France of possible British attack.
