Folio 70: Stormont to Weymouth. Details of a naval force having sailed from Brest under La Motte-Piquet and other warships are to sail immediately. Replacements are to be commissioned at once. There is war fever in France, inflamed by the seizure by Britain of theFrench American merchant ship of 40 guns, the Beaumont. Austrian troops have not entered Bavaria but have halted in the bishopric of Passau.
